The coffee shop is located in the old granary. An impressive two storey building that has gone through a major renovation project to get the right specification.
Like the farm shop many of the original features have been retained. These include beams, stonework, the wheel once used as part of the old steam thresher and the main focal point of the farm - the tall chimney that can be seen for miles around and acts as a visual landmark for The Country Barn.
The coffee shop has proved how old can mix with new by incorporating a cyber café facility. This service is available to locals and tourists alike who want to enjoy the breathtaking coastal views available whilst tucking into the homemade treats and ‘surfing the net'! (This service will be available from Summer 2007.)
The layout of the coffee shop is such that it is split over two levels offering ample seating as well as an area suitable for small business meetings as well as a gift/craft shop.
To allow you to visualise the views on offer - the next brick wall is Norway! Basically this means that nothing will spoil or block your view of some of the most tranquil, inspiring coastline that Britain has to offer.
Homemade lunches, afternoon teas and treats are served six days a week and we are proud to advise we even have our own unique blend of coffee known as, what else but The Country Barn blend!
